THE Stirling University Scottish Nationalist Association is proud to announce that the Young Scots for Independence Annual Spring Conference will be held at the University of Stirling on the 21st of May 2022. The YSI is the youth wing of the SNP, representing members under the age of 30. YSI Annual Conference allows youth engagement with politics, and has had several successful policies implemented by the SNP. Annual Conference allows members to submit and vote on policies, as well as elect vacant positions of the National Executive Committee.
YSI Annual Conference 2022 will be held in Lecture Theatre A4 within the Cottrell Building at the University of Stirling. This is a great opportunity for SUSNA to recruit new members, network with other SNP Students Societies, and promote the forward direction of one of the oldest SNP Student Societies in Scotland. It is also a great opportunity to hear the voice of young people in Scotland and to encourage engagement and political activism.
Speaking of the event SUSNA President, Dante Lopez, said:
“This is an opportunity that I am really excited about. It gives us the chance to show what the University of Stirling has to offer, as well as being part of the bigger policy machine within the SNP. I look forward to working with the team at YSI to plan and make the conference a success, and to welcome all conference delegates to our beautiful campus. There are some really interesting motions up for debate, and some other great activities planned.”
